Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam (01-01-2004 - present)

I work as a senior project manager in the RSM Erasmus University, Department of Decision & Information Sciences. Besides the execution of research projects I am also active in project development and acquisition. Projects are characterized as innovative, knowledge intense and multi-disciplinarity. Often partnerships are formed with other universities, institutes, and (IT)partners.

During the past years I have built up an extensive network of 500+ (inter)national contacts in different sectors - especially within IT, Finance, R&D and T&L.

My expertise is focused on the following 3 topics:
1) New Worlds of Work / Nieuwe Werken
2) Smart Ports: smart IT applications for ports and (secure) global supply chains
3) Business Agility (sensing, responding and learning) and IT agility in service organizations
My PhD dissertation is titled "Business Agility and Information Technology in Service Organizations".

Within the department I am responsible for Finance and member of the daily board.
